How to make the most of the closet space

Modern houses are a reflection of our culture. Their brick panels are not part of the structure. They are built with sticks, and plastic insulation is the main obstacle between the inhabitants and the elements. Essentially, they are like large plastic box designs that design the appearance of the house, but do not have most of the functionality. The window does not open. The blinds were nailed to the wall. The lawns were not planted and they were pushed out. This makes it strange that residents are working hard on the ideal. Inside, the climate is controlled by the machine to maintain a stable 70F. Welcome to live in the bubble. But I'm off topic.
My point is to discuss the storage of clothing. Clothes used to be stored on the chest, and then on the dressing table. Today, we have a lot of clothes that we store in the walls.
Now, people can (apparently) buy a variety of storage solutions, but it's easy to build their own. I have a pole for a hanger in my closet with two wide shelves on it. I don't have a dressing table, my wife has a dressing table. What I did was hang my shirt, pants, bathrobes, etc. on the hanger. On the shelves, I put my t-shirt/Henry, socks and lingerie. I used two small cardboard boxes to separate them. The cardboard boxes contain shoe polish and tie respectively. On the upper shelf, I was wearing a few sweatshirts and some jeans. Next is my collection of gadgets. GPS, binoculars, shortwave radio, Stetson hats and those sleeping bags nearby. Under the hanger, I have a large suitcase that holds seasonal clothes. I have all kinds of bags next to me. There are also several hooks with umbrellas, baseball caps and Octane8 Camelbak.
Today, most apartments and homes have such closets. So there is no reason to buy storage furniture
🙂
This helps older housing. Before moving here we lived in a 1920s house with very small closets, which means that the closets are perfectly OK for a family of four, but for two modern people they are too small. sad.
