IDF troops destroy Hamas military assets across Gaza school
More than 800 explosive devices and other weapons have been found to be confiscated throughout Gaza.
The Gaza Strip troops operating under command of the south have destroyed a tunnel that had previously been under the school building of Khan Yunis and found explosives in another building that had previously operated on Shejaia, the IDF said Friday night.
Explosives found in the former school were hidden in near outdoor sacks.
More than 800 explosive devices and other weapons hidden in Gaza courtyards and buildings have been found to be confiscated.
According to the military, dozens of tunnels have been excavated, investigated and destroyed.
“Hamas terrorists systematically planted explosive devices in construction yards with the aim of hurting IDF troops operating in the area,” the military said in its statement.
Forces have been operating across the zone to destroy the terrorist infrastructure.

Defense Minister Isarel Katz said earlier on X/Twitter that the IDF is operating as “all-out” to achieve the goal of the war, which includes freeing all hostages in Gaza and destroying Hamas.
Kaz said that in every place, the IDF is still holding the post there after it clears the areas of terrorists and infrastructure.
Critical junctures have been crossed on the way to achieve the goals of the latest Gaza action.
Thursday night was one of the most intense since the IDF began operations in Gaza’s “Gideon Chariot”, according to testimony from Israeli soldiers.
