India hangs flights at key airports as tensions in Pakistan – Country

Indian airlines suspended flight operations at more than two dozen airports in the northern and western regions of the country.
In consultation with passengers, major domestic airlines said their flights would be suspended until Saturday from airports in Amritsar in northern Punjab and Indian-controlled Kashmir, bordering Pakistan.
India's Civil Aviation Ministry has not formally commented on the closure of the airport after tensions with Pakistan broke out. The ministry spokesman, Beana Yadav, declined to comment on Thursday.
Indigo, the country's largest domestic airline, canceled 165 flights on Wednesday, while Air India and Air India canceled similar numbers. Air India even transferred its two international flights from Amritsar near Lahore to New Delhi due to the sudden shutdown of the airport.

India and Pakistan are on the brink of a new military crisis following New Delhi’s missile strikes in Pakistan’s territory on Wednesday, targeting the targets of terrorist training camps to avenge the massacre of 26 Indian tourists in India controlled last month.
India accused Pakistan of supporting the gunman, an allegation denied by Islamabad.

Shortly after the murder, the two countries quickly closed their respective airspace last month and India closed some airports. The cancellation of flights has caused passengers to be in trouble.
Rahul, a 32-year-old Indian businessman named after a name that he flew from Dubai to Chandigarh on Wednesday, which was cancelled after the Indian airport was closed. The airline offered him a rescheduled flight to Delhi and then took the bus to Chandigarh.
Rahul's job was delayed from returning home, but he did not complain.
“It's a security situation. I understand,” he said.
