Iran-born Yale University scholar fired for allegations of “hypocritical charity” tied to terrorism
An associate research scholar at Yale Law School failed to disclose information about her contact with the Samidoun Network, a Canadian group designated by the U.S. State Department.
Iran-born Helyeh Doutaghi was fired three weeks after alleging she was part of the Samidoun network and was classified as a “false charity” by the federal government for attributed to the Palestine Front, a U.S.-designated terrorist group.
“Over the past three weeks, Yale has repeatedly asked to meet with Ms. Dutaji and her attorneys to get clarification and resolve the issue,” Yale spokesman Alden Ferro said in a statement provided to Fox News's digital numbers. “She unfortunately refused to meet to provide any answers to key issues, including whether she has ever conducted banned activities with organizations or individuals listed on the specially designated National and Blocked List of Persons ('SDN List').
