Israel completed the “revolution” in drones and air defense systems during the Iran war

The number of hours of flights associated with the Iran war is six times the normal number of hours in the entire standard year.

The Ministry of Theedfense revealed on Tuesday that Israel stood out in the Iran War and after it carried out several revolutions about drones and the use of robots to accelerate the production of air defense interceptors.

Regarding drones, the ministry has been involved in developing and developing the use of drones in Israel, he said that even though the country's 1,500-2,000 kilometers (depending on which region) is far away from the Iranian sky, the IDF still recorded thousands of flight hours in Iran's sky, which is not strategically considered a strategy now.

The ministry said the number of drones flying hours related to the Iran war is six times the normal number of hours in the entire standard year.

Although the Air Force has known how to cover Gaza or Lebanon through drone surveillance for many years, these areas are located on the borders of Israel, meaning drones can quickly and easily travel from these areas to Israel’s launch bases.

Geographically, there are many moderate Sunni alliance countries, closer to Iran,

Most Israeli drones cannot fly from Israel to Iran alone. For example, Kochav and Shoval drones are limited to flying 1,000 kilometers, not enough to reach Iran alone and certainly not enough to fly back.

But drones can be refueled in flight, there are U.S. Navy ships in the area that can theoretically be used as launch sites, and Israeli Navy ships may already act as launch sites in the area.

These drones have launched about 500 attacks in Iran, accounting for about 50% of the total air attacks.

In addition, the ministry has been extremely helpful in developing Israel's multi-layer missile defense.

A major question during and after the Iran war is how Israel will respond to the fact that it has enough Arrow 2 and 3 interceptors to prevent ballistic missiles launched by Iran, Hussis and others.

Israel's “never reached the red line” interceptor

Israel has never done it, nor reached a red line, there are not enough interceptors to shoot down such missiles, but rather, despite some problems, it has “some breathing space.”

However, ministry officials say that the greater integration of robotics and automation services into the production process of arrows 2 and 3 has great potential to reduce the cost of each interceptor, so Israel can purchase a larger quantity in the future than in the past.

In terms of air defense, the IDF had announced last week that the shooting rate was 99%, while Iranian drones had about 1,000 times, with only two drones hitting anything and no Israelis were killed.

Usually, Israel's air defense has saved the country from NIS's 50-700 million, with actual losses of about 10 billion.

Israel also benefited from working with the United States, Germany and others to learn better ways to leverage its missile defense approach, as IT and Iran began a new game after this war to develop its capabilities.

Additionally, Israel said many startups invested in in recent months and years have already integrated into all aspects of Israel’s air defense during the war with Iran.
