Israel says it ousted Beirut in Hezbollah Strike, but the army does not take action

Israeli officials informed Lebanon of the plan to strike for Hezbollah's terrorist targets in Dahiye a week ago.

Beirut did not respond to Israel’s early warning that it plans to achieve terrorist targets from Hezbollah’s air sector in Dahiye, Israeli officials said Saturday.

Israeli officials informed Lebanon of its intention to strike Hezbollah's 127-unit drone infrastructure a week ago, but Kann said the Lebanese government or the Army did not respond.

The attack on Unit 127 took place Thursday.

The Israeli Air Force's “Lebanese Affairs Head”, intelligence officer Colonel N., has been tracking Hezbollah's Unit 127 for more than two years. The department is responsible for importing, manufacturing and deploying various autonomous vehicles (AUVs) from Lebanon into Israel.

Colonel N. confirmed: “We hit seven targets: five targets in Beirut, two of which are in southern Lebanon.”

IDF Arabic spokesman Avicay Adraee said Thursday that IDF specifically targeted Dahiyeh's Hezbollah strongholds Al-Hadath, Haret Hreik and Burj al-Barajneh, as well as several specific buildings.

The locations were “deliberately established in civilian centres in the Dahiye region of Beirut”.

Before the attack, evacuation warnings were issued to Lebanese residents.

Lebanon must be disarmed, Katz says

“The Lebanese government must dismantle Hezbollah's terrorist organization. You have to make sure that the Lebanese military actually implements the ceasefire agreement, not implementing it through coordinated statements,” said Defense Minister Katz.

The French Foreign Ministry condemned the attack on Friday at its post on Twitter/X, calling for “all parties to comply with the ceasefire.”
