'I'm back': Pacquiao cancels retirement at 46 to challenge WBC middleweight champion Barrios in Las Vegas

Manny Pacquiao retires.
The 46-year-old boxing contest is scheduled to face the WBC middleweight champion Mario Barrios in MGM Grand in Las Vegas, nearly four years after his last professional fight.
“I’m back,” Pacquiao posted on social media on Wednesday.
Pacquiao’s team announced a comeback last week, hours after he admitted to losing his bid for another seat in the Philippine Senate.
Pacquiao won 12 titles in seven heavyweight classes from pilot to superweight, while becoming one of the biggest draws in boxing. He will be called in the International Boxing Hall of Fame on June 8.
He announced his retirement after his frustration with Yordenis Ugas. In Pacquiao’s first fight in more than two years, a young Cuban boxer defeated him by unanimously deciding to retain the WBA middleweight title.
Pacquiao's rag to a rich life story and legendary career brought honor to his Southeast Asian country, where he was known for his nicknames “Pacman” and “People's Champ”.
The 30-year-old Barrios retained the WBC middleweight belt in a draw against Abel Ramos last November, with his 29-2-1 tie, with 18 KOSs.
