Jon Stewart
Jon Stewart opened Monday night's monologue by celebrating the work of the government's efficiency department.
“Dorge has finally taken root in one of the most inefficient government workers in the United States and marked him as a fire,” Stewart said. Telsa and boss X announced that he would move forward from the White House last week.
The comedian quipped, “He’s leaving work to support more families.”
But despite the applause from his studio audience, Stewart admitted that he was “starting to feel bad about the guy.” “He's only been there for four months,” Stewart said. “He mastered a task from Tech Titan to move quickly and smash deep states, and the guy had a bad night at the Nashville Bar he didn't remember.”
To further emphasize his point, Stewart noted that Musk appears to be “beaten.” He joked: “He had this expression on his face, and I think his employees usually have it.” Elon spent $300 million of his own money to be elected Trump, irreparably damaged his personal brand and nearly all of his business and was clearly suffering from some kind of problem. ”
Most of Stewart's monologues document how Musk's work on Trump's white hose over the past four months has changed, from reports that his ketamine usage has caused him to pee his recent “CBS News Sunday Morning” interview, during which he tenderly demanded to talk about space. Ultimately, Stewart pointed out that Musk's decline was a lesson for all Trump's allies.
“You're going to dissolve from reaching out to the stars to your own puddles of urine and shame and open a fight club with your kids just to be able to feel it. Because Trump doesn't believe anything, man,” Stewart said. Watch the full comedy central opening monologue above.
