KKL-JNF enhances the war community defeated by Israel through housing subsidies, new projects

During the pilot phase, housing will be developed in seven towns: Yeruham, Dimona, Arad, Kiryat Shmona, Shlomi, Acre and Nahariya.

Keren Kayemeth Leisrael – The Jewish State Foundation (KKL-JNF) has announced plans to help Israel’s northern and southern communities restore war for nearly two years.

A new initiative led by graduates from the Military Academy (Mechinot) aims to strengthen communities through a long-term community framework and housing subsidies.

The plan was approved earlier this week by the KKL-JNF Executive Committee, and the organization now intends to purchase high-quality residential clusters in target towns that will be rented to young people at regulated prices.

Where will the initiative be carried out?

During the pilot phase, housing will be developed in seven towns: Yeruham, Dimona, Arad, Kiryat Shmona, Shlomi, Acre and Nahariya.

“KKL-JNF is at the forefront of national recovery, not just in restoring infrastructure, but in rebuilding communities and restoring social cohesion,” said Ifatat Ovadia-Luski, chairman of KKL-JNF. “The plan reflects our deep commitment to revitalizing the periphery and strengthening the social fabric of Israel. Mechina graduates are one of the most determined and capable young people in the country. They are ready to take a renewed mission. It is Zionism in action, not a slogan, but a way of life, but a way of life.”

After the program passes the initial pilot phase, KKL-JNF intends to open the program in more towns and more critical populations, including teachers, community service professionals, and more.
