Kraft Heinz, a manufacturer of Kool-Aid and Jell-O, and other popular food brands have also announced that it will remove artificial colors from its products by 2027. Brooke, what do we know?

That's because the RFK Jr. and the Trump administration are indeed suppressing major consumer products, food brands, snack brands to really eliminate artificial flavors when the administration ends. So, Kraft Heinz announced this big announcement this morning, which plans to get rid of all artificial flavors in the remaining 10% of the U.S. portfolio by the end of 2027. They also announced that no new products will use artificial dyes today, which does affect 10% of U.S. products. They say that's the remaining 10% of the U.S. portfolio, which still uses these artificial flavors. So when you think about the product under the Kraft Heinz umbrella, what comes to mind here is. This is kool-aid, it is jelly. These are those jet marshmallows too. These also use artificial dyes as well as crystalline light. So of course, over the next two years we will look at their exact quotes to reinvent these products or replace these colors and try to understand how they say exactly the blue dye and green dye and invent it in new ways to make these products not necessarily taste different. Therefore, there is no consumer challenge. But what we know is that Kraft Heinz, General Mills, WK Kellogg are stocks that have been under pressure so far this year, not only because of the announcement that RFK Jr. has announced that RFK Jr. has suppressed artificial dyes, but also with consumers’ approval of themselves and the treatment or the dishware they encountered here, and consumers are a little picky. There are many things to watch in this space, but this news was made from Kraft Heinz this morning.

OK so

Let's break it down.

Yes, let's dig deeper, because I feel like I've invested personally and influenced the consumption of many of these products throughout my life. But when we think about how executives position their companies to change operations, it seems that either of them is leading the way in their efforts?
03:31 Brooke Dipalma
Yes, I mean, they said they have been doing this for the last few years. Back in 2016, they removed artificial dyes from Craft Macs and cheese. Therefore, they seem to have the ability to make these changes. Of course, it is yet to be seen how much this reinvention will cost here.

OK Brooke, next time I do some Cool aid or any one I don't know, I'll watch it closely.
04:13 Brooke Dipalma
no longer?
04:13 Speaker a
Yes, the powdery mixture. I have no idea. Anyway, I kind of took it out of the storage room. Brooke, thanks.
