Allies further strengthen Ukraine's military defense

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said on Wednesday that the Allies were ready to further strengthen Ukraine's military defense.

Pistorius announced that he would restart his international support program for Kiev's aviation defense as he arrived at the meeting of the so-called Ukrainian liaison group in Brussels.

The German minister of the joint meeting also said Belgium, Estonia, Italy, Sweden and Türkiye will join a group of countries that support Ukraine's expansion of electromagnetic combat capabilities.

This involves ensuring Ukrainian communications, reconnaissance and Russian communications sabotage, and drone defense.

“It is obvious that Russia continues to attack Ukraine on a large scale every day, and the number of drone attacks and attacks on cruise missiles is huge. Time and time again, every day, every day, innocent Ukrainians die or are injured in these attacks,” Pistorius said.
