Macron's wife catches him in the video and pushes him on the plane – National

French President Emmanuel Macron dismissed the incident involving his wife, where she seemed to actively push him as she disembarked.
Macron's office on Monday underestimated his wife, Brigitte Macron, when he arrived in Vietnam at the start of the Southeast Asian Tour, seemed to have pushed him to Vietnam.
In the video, Bridget's hand can be seen pushing into his face while the president is ready to disembark from the president's plane. Only her arms and hands were visible, wearing red sleeves, and the outfit she wore while walking alongside her husband while walking along the steps of the plane later.

She didn't seem to realize that the plane door was open when the push happened. Afterwards, Macron can be seen waving briefly to the camera before the two disappeared behind the stewardess.
The couple have been married since 2007 and then disembarked together.

An Elysee official played a role in the moment, denying the argument between the couple.
“It was the last moment of relaxation for the president and his wife before the trip began,” Reuters said. “It was a moment of intimacy.”
Macron visited Vietnam, a former French colony and the first of any role the French leader has had in nearly a decade, with his goal to strengthen the region’s influence in the region.
Vietnam has a large export-driven economy and has made concessions to the United States in trade negotiations to avoid 46% tariffs. But EU-based Brussels fears that Vietnam's efforts to buy more American goods could come at the expense of Europe.
U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to impose 50% tariffs on EU imports on Friday, but his stance softened two days later, resuming a July 9 deadline for talks between Washington and Brussels.
