Members of Congress outline plans to “quickly delete” 1.4 million Medicaid immigrants

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem and Dr. Mehmet Oz, Dr. Mehmet Oz, administrator of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) both accepted recipients of the Rep. Hunt letter this week, which proposed to “identify” and remove illegal immigrants on Medicaid.

Hunter added: “I formally asked the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish a task force to identify those who illegally utilize our health care system and to ensure that they are quickly evacuated from our country.”

The comments from the Texas Congressman are President Donald Trump “A large bill” that includes a supply of illegal immigrants from taxpayer-funded health care is faced at the last minute of the Senate.

Fox News Digital obtained a document this week from the Congressional Budget Office of two Republican committee chairs and provided information on a “large beauty bill”:

“About 1.4 million people will be people who do not meet the citizenship and immigration requirements for Medicaid enrollment, but are covered by existing laws in programs funded by states.”

Senate members proposed the current language in legislation Thursday, which would exclude the eligibility of illegal immigrants, but sources close to the negotiations told Fox News Digital that these parts of the bill were re-promoted to ensure they were included in the final draft of the bill.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-South Dakota, also addressed lawmakers and decided to remove some of the Medicaid from journalists.

“These are speeds along the way. We expected it, so we have contingency plans,” Thune explained. “Obviously, you have to adjust your schedule and schedule a little bit, but we're moving forward.”

Regardless of whether Medicaid is removed from “a large bill” or not, Congressman Hunter said simply being able to identify illegal immigrants with free health care is enough reason to remove it from the United States.

“Through a coordinated effort between DHS and CMS, we can develop an effective way to identify people based on financial data, residence or medical history, and then take appropriate action against those who violate our immigration laws,” Hunter wrote to Noem and Dr. Oz.
