My 4-hour working week

Besides being financially independent, I also maintained a 4-hour work week just to prove that you don’t need to accumulate six net worth to leave your full-time career. Think of it as a form of social service: Oh, my sacrifice to prove a point of view
Update: I don't do this anymore. The excitement of solving the copy editing puzzle eventually disappeared and I was busy completing my book. I have never worked in this job since February 2010/2010. However, this does not mean that it is not a viable alternative for those who prefer to work continuously, rather than working full-time to become an investor.
While not the same as a financially independent zero-hour work week, four hours are indeed close, so this may be the choice for those who don’t want to pursue a full-time career in 5 years.
For the purpose of the discussion, I define work as what you do, but if you are not paid, you won't do it. I realize that some of you are doing their jobs and don’t think it works. I used to feel the same way, but realize that it will change.
This post is more suitable for those who don’t like their job but think it’s the necessity to pay for other fees.
The key requirement for this is that, like extreme early retirement, either the hourly fee is high or vice versa, the expense level is extremely low. Here I would choose the latter because there are people with almost no ability to spend more (e.g. $500 a month) than those with the ability to earn a lot (e.g. $200 a hour).
My 4-hour work week work involves using latex type-based science articles, which are a program/programming language that determines the way equations, paragraphs, etc. Requires some basic understanding of equations It shouldn't be Know; certain English commands- I am a foreigner, I have should Most high school graduates, as well as knowledge of latex (get books from Knuth and Lamport and read them).
Learn La/Tex involves some of your efforts/self-education, but I would say that if you put it back in, you can get to a decent level in 6 months. If you are a computer, you may study on the weekend. The difficult part may involve finding a job. Actually, it wasn't hard for me, and I didn't even look at it. DW sent me from Craigslist when she was looking for her job. I think this sounds interesting and the work was done after half an hour, so consider it a consequence of accidentality.
It pays $35/hour. So 4 hours of 4 weeks equal $560 (minus tax), which is more than my spending, which proves the concept. I work from home, set up as a home business, and all communications are done via email and online databases. But, I can work at any time and how much I want, which fits with the rest of my life. For example, I can work from home or on the beach. Or I can work 4 hours a day and then take a week off (I actually have done that since I was just busy with other things). In this sense, this is the ideal choice for my lifestyle.
Income also means I can maintain a 50%+ savings rate; I double-covered it; or, if DW loses her job, I can cover her. Employment also provides a certain level of respect, and I still feel personally problematic due to the deep Protestant work ethics and the old-fashioned “husband should be the provider/more than wife than wife” values. ah!
The same scheduled jobs (work anytime, anywhere) include conducting online surveys or tutoring, but if they are so high about the survey, they pay much less, more like $10/hour.
By comparison, $35 seems like a very high salary, in a sense, but it reflects the Sufficient Skill. So, as part of a complete life strategy, I can’t fully emphasize this: you need to make yourself valuable and proficient. A little better than the game (don't waste time watching TV already puts you ahead of 95% of the others). Now, this may sound like a job, but it's not a lot of jobs, especially compared to doing a survey.
OK, so now you're saying…hey, of course I'm cheating because I'm actually what the computer guys say Whiz (everyone else calls it a nerd ) So I don't have to spend a few months on the book. OK, I'll give it to you. So, I'm trying to learn watch repair (certainly a non-obstructive profession, isn't it?
.
Anyway, you can do 4 hours of work during a 4-hour work week (actually!). The strategy I suggest is to kill your stupid TV, but to take the time to learn some skills worth $35 per hour and it will be useful to you personally
(actively) waiting for one of them to be asked. I think such a diverse strategy beats a focus and then frantically try to find it. Everything needs to be – but maybe it's asking for a lot
🙁
– Learn new knowledge and positive responses whenever opportunities arise.
Yes, I'm typing the book I wrote on latex, and I used to write my papers using latex.
