The New York Knicks shocked the Boston Celtics kicked off the second round of the NBA playoff series on Monday night with exciting fashion.

The Knicks missed up to 45 3-pointers in Boston, knocking out a 20-point deficit, forcing overtime to force overtime and defeating the Celtics 108-105.

Jalen Brunson was almost the hero of the buzzer, just like in the first round against the Detroit Pistons, Karl-Anthony Towns found him and he discovered a sweet pass that only took a few seconds to clock in the fourth quarter.

But Brunson's float on Al Horford doesn't have the proper trick, it keeps the basket hanging in the air for overtime, rather than ensuring victory regulations.

However, the Knicks outperformed the Celtics with their fourth quarter momentum in overtime, 25-18. Og Anunoby had a key three-pointer in less than two minutes to help New York's forced overtime effort, dunked and pinned his free throw to lead 103-100.

Anunoby matched Brunson at 29 points that night, scoring 10 of 20 from the field, including 6 goals from the 11th.

The Knicks pushed the lead to six when Mikal Bridges knocked out a 23-foot three-pointer to shock the TD Garden crowd. Jayson Tatum finally put the Celtics on the board in overtime, but Town scored a goal to keep the lead for six minutes with 1 minute and 47 seconds left.

Boston began to feel life again after Jaylen Brown finally hit a three-pointer, but the Celtics couldn't force more extra time as Bridges stripped Brown's inbound pass on the buzzer. Bridges played 51 minutes out of the 53-minute total, and the key to stopping Boston in overtime was to shoot with two blocks before stealing.

On Monday night, the Celtics were not in good condition on a goal-shot on three-point territory – usually the professional group. They were cold from the second half and eventually became the team with a record of 35.1%.

Tatum is second only to 23 strokes, including one-third. He scored 23 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. Brown shot just 10 from three-pointers, although he scored 7 of 20 from the field, while 8 of 10 scored 23 points.

Knicks State has more, with 13 rebounds in town, and he scored 14 points, while Josh Hart always put up huge rebounding ability, scoring 11 points and 14 points. On the bench, Miles “Deuce” McBride scored 11 points.

If this game says anything about the series, it looks like it was shaped in another classic round between legendary rivals.
