Several sharks were found in New York waters on July 4, prompting the city to close a section of beach in Queens.
Video shared on social media shows a shark swimming near the rockaway in the distant hill in Queens.
The beast was found around 11:30 a.m. near 32nd Street Beach. The beach at 144th Street on Beach is reportedly the third sighting of 30th Street on the city’s deputy mayor of Public Safety Kaz Daughtry.

But now reopens. We will continue to monitor the beach and keep everything up to date.”
