Old aircraft crash video misrepresents the consequences of Kashmir attacks

Relations between nuclear-weapon neighbors plummeted since New Delhi blamed its arch rival Islamabad, attacking an attack, killing 26 men in India-managed Kashmir in April, the deadliest attack on civilians in a quarter of a century (archived link).

Indian news media My Country and FirstPost also shared footage of the wreckage from different angles (archived here and here).

The Times of India reported that the plane was tested after the crash of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL) (link to archive).

The company confirmed the jet crashed in a statement x (archive link).

The PTI News Agency in India and the Government's News Information Bureau also dismissed the claim as a false report (archived here and here).
