Paris lashed out with 70 mph gusts as it was burning 99 degrees in a fierce thunderstorm

Paris – The City of Lights is temporarily more like Wednesday’s Lightning City after a fierce thunderstorm brought huge winds and heavy rains across Paris and central France.

According to Meteo, gusts hit 65-70 mph in Paris, Montobien had 71 mph and 73 mph in MUIDS. In Bernay, a Supercell blew 2-inch gusts of wind in just one hour with 78 mph.
Meteo, France, said that there were large hailstorms in Peyrehoarde and Montegut, according to reports.
Paris Orly Airport reported that gusts of winds at Charles de Gaulle Airport were 53 mph when gusts exploded due to severe weather and multiple flight delays.
