Philadelphia's Bryson Stott uses subtle gestures to reveal gender

Philadelphia Phillies infielder Bryson Stott did his best to help a friend make a special announcement.
Stott revealed a unique device for the game's baby gender during Saturday's Phillies vs. Los Angeles Dodgers.
Stott wore a pink armband when he first walked into the batsman's box on Saturday's game. Philadelphia broadcaster Tom McCarthy announced that second baseman friend Ryan Stevens will soon be the father of the baby girl.

According to this story, Stevens has produced more than a dozen double custom cleats for Scott since 2023.
Stevens offers custom shoes for other Philadelphia professional athletes, including 76 star Tyrese Maxey.
In February, Eagles Safety Cooper Dejean wore a pair of custom shoes made by Stevens.

Stott made Saturday's game with three sets. The defending World Series champion Dodgers continued to move forward into the 2025 season, beating the Philadelphia 3-1.
