Photo: Huntington Beach celebrates July 4

Huntington Beach was launched in 1904 in 1904, and the Fourth of July celebration commemorated the arrival of the region’s first electric passenger train with Long Beach and Los Angeles, attracting 50,000 people to the celebration. 121 years later, the annual tradition attracted more than 500,000 attendees.
Sunset Silhouette is a lifeguard who keeps a close eye on the waves and crowds, celebrates the fourth time in July, then watches fireworks show shooting the docks and illuminates the ocean on Friday at Huntington Beach.
