President Donald Trump said he did not know the new nominee for U.S. surgeons, who told reporters Thursday that he relied on the advice of Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Trump withdrew his nomination for surgeon Janette Nesheiwat this week, instead nominating Dr. Casey. The president said after announcing the nomination that she was “impeccable ‘Maha’ certificate.”

When asked Thursday about the meaning and why he attacked her for the role, the president said Kennedy recommended her.
“Because Bobby thought she was great, she had experienced an outstanding woman at Stanford – wanting to be academic rather than doctor,” the president said.
“I don't know her, I listened to Bobby,” Trump added. “I think she'll be great.”

Meaning, supporters of the voice “make America healthy again” played a major role in helping the government shape the government’s agenda around health with brother Calley Means.
She became the name of a health influencer with her brother. In 2024, Casey and Calley co-wrote a book about the chronic disease epidemic titled “Good Energy,” and Casey is also the co-founder of a health technology company called Leveling.
Calley Mean was previously attacked by the government and served as Kennedy's top special counsel.

It is not clear why Nesheiwat's nomination is to be nominated. Fox News Digital contacted the White House for more information, but did not receive an immediate response.
Meanwhile, in a follow-up article on X, Nesheiwat also said she “looks forward” to continue supporting Trump while working closely with Kennedy “in a senior policy role.”

“My focus continues to improve the health and well-being of all Americans, and this mission has not changed,” Nesheiwat concluded in her public social media commentary.
Nesheiwat, the sister son of Michael Waltz, a recently fired national security adviser, said he would now be nominated as the next ambassador of the United Nations after he revoked his original nominee, Republican Republican, New York.
