Protesters say Bezos' wedding venue has changed due to the threat of “inflatable crocodile”.

Amazon co-founder Jeff Bezos reportedly threatened to block the canals around the site with inflatable crocodiles, and he reportedly had to change one of his wedding venues in Venice, according to The Guardian.
According to British media reports, the billionaire and his wife, Lauren Sanchez, a former journalist, should have a wedding party at Scuola Grande Della Misericordia, a historic building dating back to the 1300s but revealed treatment in last-minute protests and security concerns.
The change in the venue was also partly attributed to security issues after the U.S. bombing of Iran, and as President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka was holding a wedding in Venice.
British media added that the Venetian authorities have increased security throughout the city, especially in the Jewish community.

Radicals say they would not try to stop the wedding, but would organize “no Bezos, no war” in March.
“We felt as if we had won,” said an activist who was not named by the Guardian. “The Crocodile Initiative made a bad impression on the city – that's why the venue changed, even if authorities might try to claim it was because of the war.”

The couple will now host guests at Arsenale Di Venezia, a 14th-century shipyard installed in the 14th-century shipyard in the eastern Castro district, Reuters reported.
The new location is accessible only by boat and cannot be reached through the land when the connecting bridge is lifted.
The large shipyards once served the Marine Empire of the Republic of Venice. Now, Arsenale has been restored and converted into an exhibition space for the Venice Biennale Art Fair.

For weeks, some residents and radical groups have complained that the day-long wedding would make the scenic city a wealthy and famous private playground, and repeatedly threatened the peaceful protest under the slogan “Space Without Bezos.”
Greenpeace Italy and Britain’s radical groups Everyone hates Elon is also part of the protest. They said they joined people’s attention to “social and climate injustice” in such incidents.

Although the exact date, time and location of the wedding are still in the package, it is expected to take place between Thursday and Saturday, with about 200 guests arriving at about 95 private jets in the coming days. The list reportedly includes Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Oprah Winfrey and Elon Musk among others.
Rumors are that the couple will exchange vows at the Cini Foundation on San Giorgio Island on Friday.
Venice is accustomed to hosting high-profile events and celebrity weddings, perhaps by far the most notable is George and Amal Clooney, 2014.
Venice's vast waterways and ancient buildings also attract many international tourists, with about 20 million tourists pouring into the city every year.
In March, the mayor guaranteed Venice's ability to manage the logistical responsibility of hosting the Bezos-Sanchez wedding.
Luigi Brugnaro told People: “We are working on each other and supporting organizers to ensure that the event will absolutely respect the vulnerability and uniqueness of the city.”
In recent days, it seems like part of the couple’s wedding invitation has been circulating online.
ABC News shared what it says is a clip asking guests not to bring gifts, and the couple plans to donate to the UNESCO Venetian Office, Collira, local wildlife charity and the Venetian International University.
