Tampa Bay Light Pitcher Hunter Bigge was shot by a foul ball on Thursday night against the Baltimore Orioles and in a frightening scene, George M. Steinbrenner Field was kicked out of the field at George M. Steinbrenner Field.
Bigge is hit from the bat by a 105 mph ball Oriole catcher Adley Rutschman At the top of the seventh inning. The ball went straight to the canoe and hit Bigg on the right side of his face.

Bigge was placed on the rebound after receiving medical care at Dugout. Despite the bleeding on his face, Bigge praised the fans who looked in fear. He was taken to the hospital for further evaluation, but cash said Beach was never unconscious and was able to speak with first responders.
The game was postponed for eight minutes, but the horrible scenes shocked the fans and players.

“It's really horrifying, frightening. We're sitting in these canoes every night and in many ways, you feel like a duck,” Orioles interim manager Tony Mansolino said after the race. “It's really scary.”

Razman responded to the sentiment, adding that he was “praying” for the best.
