Retired U.S. Army. General Mark Kimmitt told CNN's Anderson Cooper on Saturday that he was impressed by the U.S. strike on Iran's nuclear site, praising President Donald Trump's use of “deception and deception.”

“I was fascinated and frankly impressed me.” I never really understood what the two-week interim meant, or what was what we would expect the Iranians to offer? In many ways, it's much like Trump's deal. I mean, he meant, the deal he was trying to buy an apartment, and suddenly, the apartment was destroyed, where was it destroyed? Save potential losses of American lives. ”

Trump announced on Saturday that the United States has attacked three Iranian nuclear sites. The president said Iran's nuclear enrichment facility “disappeared completely” in a brief speech at the White House.

Cooper also asked about Kimmitt’s impact and what U.S. forces should worry about in the region.

Misleading and “deception” may be the key to Trump administrators' surprise Iran strike

“They should be very worried,” Kimmitt said. “Look, the Iranians are not there, but they don't solve it. The fact is still the proxy network, although reduced, is still fatal. You can only use the number of Iran-backed militias in Iraq alone, they can fight and have a lot of American interests, American forces, American infrastructure at risk.”

Kimmitt was in the past president George W. Bush.
