Russian regulators are trying to seize assets from World of Tank developers
Wargaming and Lesta Games executives, co-developers World of TanksAccording to reports from Russian news agencies RIA and RBC.
Lesta Games chief Malik Khatazhaev and Wargaming chief Viktor Kisly were reportedly accused of extremist activities by Russian prosecutors (the country is equivalent to the U.S. Attorney General) because of Wargaming's support for Ukraine, RIA Report. Prosecutors want to capture stakes in all executives in their respective companies.

Neither Lesta Games nor Wargaming issued an official statement, but Lesta Games did comment on the company's telegram channel, RBC Report. “The company is fully compliant with legislation in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, so we have no reason to doubt or withhold information,” Lesta Games wrote. “We have not violated anything, we have nothing to fear.”
