A British judge ordered Grammy Award-winning singer Chris Brown to be released on Wednesday's 5 million pound ($9.3 million) bail ($9.3 million) while facing charges he defeated and beat a music producer in a bottle at a London nightclub in 2023.

The Southwork Crown Court judge's ruling restored Brown's world tour, which was suspected after another judge ordered him to be detained because he was charged last week with serious bodily harm.

Judge Tony Baumgartner said Brown could continue the trip, including several stops in the UK, but would have to pay bail to ensure he appeared in court.

Brown was initially scheduled to appear again on June 13.

If he has been in jail, Brown will miss at least two dates on the upcoming tour that will begin in Europe next month.

Brown, 36, is accused of launching an unprovoked attack on producer Abe Diaw at a tape nightclub near the trendy Mayfair during his last tour in February 2023.

Prosecutor Hannah Nicholls said in Manchester District Court last week that Brown hit Diaw several times with a bottle, then slammed him, kicked him, attacked him, attacked an attack on a surveillance camera in front of a club full of people.

Omololu Akinlolu, 38, performs under the name of a baby in a hoodie and is a friend of Brown, who is also accused of assault.
