Suspect arrested after pointing his gun at the LAPD helicopter at Cathsworth's home

A man arrested the LAPD at the Los Angeles Police Department for aiming a shotgun at a police helicopter and then lay in the pool of Chatsworth's house for hours while law enforcement surrounded the residence.
LAPD was dispatched to a house in the 20,000 block of Tipico Street at 2:20 p.m. after a call with a fatal weapon suspect.
When police arrived, the suspect pointed a shotgun over the head of the LAPD helicopter and lay down by a swimming pool in the backyard of the house, a spokesman said. He added that it is not clear whether the shots were fired at the helicopter.
Members of a SWAT team detained the suspect at 6:18 p.m. about his identity or booking charges.
Neighbors who were evacuated during the incident were allowed to return to their hometown after police arrested the suspect.
Helicopter video captured by KTLA-TV shows the suspect lying face to face beside the swimming pool, with two obvious shotguns lying on a nearby table. The suspect seemed to be breathing and made small movements with his head and legs.
According to a report by KTLA, the owner of the home has no idea who the man was or where the weapon came from.
