Texas high school graduate dies at party among girls who explode

The battle between two girls at a Texas High School graduation party killed one graduate.
Fox 7 reports that Andrew Farias, 18, was killed in a house in Uhland, a suburb of Austin.
Uhland police and Texas Rangers responded to the house on May 25 in reports of the shooting. The homeowner told the authorities that when the battle between the two girls broke out, he invited to leave at around 1 a.m.

A witness told the Texas Rangers that the fight began because the girls were “on the face” and talking about other girls, according to an affidavit obtained by the news outlet.
During the controversy, Chad Lee-Gardner, 18, jumped in and allegedly hit the female homeowner in the head.

Farias tried to face Lee-Gardner, who allegedly fired twice and hit Farias.
Farias played the cornerback and ran for his high school soccer team, and later died.
Lee-Gardner fled before police arrived, but later was detained in Austin on suspicion of murder, police said.

Farias graduated from San Marcos High School 24 hours before the shooting. His family said he plans to attend Texas State University in August.
