President Donald Trump made a social event late Wednesday night after two Israeli embassy staff members killed a deadly close-range shooting near the capital's Jewish Museum.
“These terrible DC killings are clearly based on anti-Semitism and must end now!” he wrote in a Truth Society post. “Hate and activism have no place in the United States. Condolences to the victim's families. Sadly, such things can happen! God bless everyone!”
Authorities confirmed that a pro-Palestinian man was killed two Israeli embassy staff who left Wednesday night at the capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said they will track down the culprit and bring it to justice.

“We condemn the Israeli embassy's murder of two employees in Washington, D.C. in the strongest way. Our prayers pray with loved ones. It's a timid, anti-Semitic violence fanatic act. There's no doubt: we'll track those responsible and take them to the ropes,” he wrote on X. ”
Israeli President Isaac Herzog called it a “despicable anti-Semitic terrorist attack” and vowed to support Israel standing with the American Jewish community.
“I was shocked by the Washington, D.C. scene. “Our hearts are with the loved ones of the murdered person, and our direct prayers are hurt. I fully support the Ambassador and all embassy staff. We stand with Jewish communities across Washington, DC and across the United States.

Homeworker victim in popular community armed carjacking in Washington
The Jewish Coalition in North America said they were fearful of the reported murders and said they were working to understand clearly what was happening.
“Our hearts sent to the victims and colleagues of the AJC to their events, whose incidents were held in the museum,” their statement said.
They continued: “We are working closely with the Jewish Federation in Greater Washington and our security partners to monitor the situation, gain a more comprehensive understanding of what is going on and make our community informed.”
They vow that the safety and security of the community are their top priority and that they will not rest until they ensure full recovery.

Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser described the shooting as “terror” and assured the community that “no proactive threats.” She also said the city “will not tolerate such violence or hatred.”
“We will not tolerate any acts of terrorism,” Ball said. “We will not tolerate anti-Semitism.”
A 30-year-old man is believed to be identified as Elias Rodriguez of Chicago Metropolitan Police Department Chief Pamela Smith said, adding that his gun had also been recovered.
DHS is “actively investigating” the incident and “working to get more information to share”.
