Trump jokes after spending a day with the Hawks star

President Donald Trump spent Sunday afternoon with Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley, who and his teammates will visit the White House.

Trump touched his time when he spoke to reporters before he went to Washington with Air Force One. The two were seen stepping into the Marines before the president spoke to the reporter waiting along the apron.

“He's a good guy. I want to play him, but I decided not to do that,” the president said.

Barkley will be one of the Hawks players and staff who will celebrate their Super Bowl title at the White House on Monday.

Barkley didn’t talk to journalists but hang out with the president and others at Trump’s Bedminster Golf Course.

After Hawks teammate Jalen raised his eyebrows at his eyebrows, the running back appeared at Trump when he felt the question of whether he would visit the White House with the team to celebrate their Super Bowl title.

Appearing on the red carpet of the 2025 Time100 Gala in New York City on Thursday night, Hurtes was asked whether he planned to visit the White House and make an official visit next week on Monday.

“Yeah.” He never answered the question because the interviewer thanked him for his time.

A White House official confirmed to Fox News Digital Digital in early March that the president's invitation had been delivered and that the team “received warmly.” This comes after the Hawks won the first Super Bowl to participate in the White House decision.

During that time, Trump canceled the invitation to host the Hawks as several players said they would not attend the visit due to his previous criticism of the national anthem protests.

But this month, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie called it a “history tradition” the team is expecting.
