The Ukrainian Air Force said on Monday that Russia fired 479 drones in Ukraine during the overnight bombing of the Three Years’ War as the Kremlin imposed a summer offensive against the backdrop of direct peace talks.

According to the Air Force, in addition to drones, 20 missiles have been launched in different regions of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Air Force said its air defense agency destroyed 277 drones and 19 missiles on Sunday night, claiming that only 10 drones or missiles hit their targets. Officials said one person was injured.

It is impossible to independently verify the claim.

The recent escalation in the air attack coincides with the push of the new Russian battlefield in the east and northeast of the approximately 1,000 km (620 miles) frontline.
