Vice President JD Vance said he feels Trump is “very capable”

Exclusive: WASHINGTON – Vice President JD Vance said he felt President Donald Trump felt “very capable”, telling Fox News Digital that there was “full trust” and “good synergy” across the senior team to “serve a shared vision.”

Vance sat in the West Wing office inside the White House and gave an exclusive interview to Fox News Digital Numbers at his West Wing office.

The Vice President reflects on his role as Vice President, and in particular, this is not limited to specific portfolios, but rather a broad role on foreign and domestic policy issues.

“Obviously, the president makes the decision. What are the benefits of the team we have, both economically and foreign policy, the president provides directives, everyone plays a role in fulfilling those directives, and the entire senior team is fully trusted,” Vance explained to Fox News Digital. “It’s kind of empowering because you don’t have to check it out often – you don’t have to micromanage some of these things.”

Vance told Fox News Numbers that he spoke with Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Tuesday after “having not spoken to him four to five days before that.”

“It's nice to know that you've got the Secretary of State doing his job, the Secretary of Defense is doing his job, and of course, I'm certainly studying my job,” Vance said. “And we're all back; we renew the president; we go from there.”

But Vance said it was “very smooth and dynamic situation”.

White House lists dozens of “scam” driven by media, critics in Trump's first 100 days

“I think it will definitely be in the next 100 days – in the next four years,” Vance said. “But what makes it possible is that people actually trust each other.”

Vance told Fox News Numbers that the president “has full of confidence in his team.”

“It’s easy to really work successfully when you don’t check in often and you keep dealing with bureaucracy,” Vance said. “You can go and do your job.”

Vance told Fox News that as vice president, he felt “very powerful”.

“I was talking to Secretary Rubio yesterday about this, and I think Marco Rubio felt very capable and the president liked and trusted his senior team so he was able to rule effectively,” Vance explained. “The president is working on a million different things, but when you can give the team instructions and say 'go to do this, it's a lot digestible.' That's what's going on with the economic side.”

“Obviously, because I'm the vice president, I have a more global perspective on it, but it's really awesome because there are only a lot of good synergies, you know, I don't know if the president has the first government – I don't know if there's such a government in the previous one – with confidence in the team.”

“You read stories about Kamala Harris’ portfolio, or you read stories about other vice presidents, even about Dick Cheney’s portfolio, there’s this dynamic, there’s turf fighting, and one person tries to say, ‘This is my job, this is my job, this is your job, and it’s not my job, my field is all out of my field. “Nothing.” ”

Vance added: “Because our territory is something the president tells us we have to accomplish and if it is to achieve a shared vision, we don’t mind sharing that territory.”

Vance told Fox News Digital Numbers, “A lot of people are very excited about the American leadership of AI, but of course, we certainly heard a speech around the world in Munich – and that’s just one of the things you can do with this office is to say what needs to be said.”

“And I think it’s important to say that some of our European allies are backwards in terms of freedom of speech, religious expression, border control, just like President Trump is trying to change this dynamic in the United States of America, I think our European friends should do the same.”

Another highlight, Vance said, is visiting the Eagle Passage in Texas.

“This is another highlight because there is a feeling – I don't mean negative – it's almost boring at Eagle Pass because Border Patrol staff showed me photos of these places that were just overwhelmed by illegal immigrants, and now – you can't see anyone.”

Vance reflects on the fact that “in just a few weeks, illegal immigration has dropped by 95%, and these people feel they don’t feel like they have too much to do.”

“But if they don't have much to do, it means we're doing business with the American people,” Vance said. “And, just seeing the crystal so clear – the connection between Donald Trump's policy and the end of the border crisis – is just a good thing for the American people.”

“It's a really cool day,” he said. “I also have to take a helicopter.”
