Video of ice release of Venezuelan immigrant confiscation of knife during arrest

Venezuelan immigrants on the ice seized a knife from the “violent” Venezuelan immigrants and were released by federal officials on Saturday during a nervous arrest in San Diego.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) shared a video on X showing agents nailing the suspect to the ground outside of residential buildings during the May 29 operation.
After sending him down, the officer took out a knife from the man.

The arrest was one of eight people on the day and was part of a targeted action supported by the federal partners in San Diego. Ice said one of the detained people was a confirmed member of the Venezuelan gangster Tren de Aragua (TDA).
It is not clear whether the person in the video is a gang member.
“Our officers and agents are often faced with extremely violent criminals carrying knives or guns,” Ice wrote in the Post. “Making sure our country can be very dangerous, but our officers and agents are honored to protect our communities.”
Although he saw the suspect resisting the arrest, he did not seem to wave the knife, but the officer quickly found and fixed the knife while getting off the car.
