“Wake Up” Hospitals Face Severe Complaints of Federally Funded DEI Policy

First on Fox: A legal nonprofit that is a pro-Trump organization has filed a formal complaint with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) calling for an investigation into diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practices after Fox’s criticism of these policies, an investigation into the prestigious hospital system of the Midwest Hospital.
The complaint was filed by the First Law of the United States (AFL) to the HHS Office of Civil Rights, accusing Henry Ford Health (HFH) of “implementing and institutionalizing a discriminatory organization based on race and gender under the banner of diversity, equity and inclusion (“DEI”), including its employment practices, including its employment practices, including its employment programs, patients who reside and delivered and delivered services and delivery.” ”
Fox News Digital reportedly launched the complaint after research in Consumer Research, a leading nonprofit organization specializing in consumer information, a campaign accused the hospital of DEI policies and the “politics of patients” of transgender treatment of children.
The AFL requires an “immediate investigation” because it accuses HFH of using federal funds to promote DEI programs, including racial quotas in its recruitment practice, prioritizing organ transplants based on race, thereby increasing “identity restriction” medical scholarship students and awarding supplier contracts based on race and gender.

The complaint alleges that HFH violates Chapter VI of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits discrimination within the healthcare industry based on race, power generation or national origin, and Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act.
The AFL also claims that the HFH violated the executive order signed by President Donald Trump this year, prohibiting federal support for the DEI authorization.
Since 2021, HFH has received nearly $1 billion in federal government obligation awards, including DEI-related regulations that incorporate race and gender-based priorities into clinical, research and administrative functions. These awards show that HFH shows that the federal government's plan affirmatively integrates DEI into its internal government, clinical decision-making, recruitment and service delivery and services.
The complaint describes HFH’s “discriminatory programs and practices” as “blatant, ongoing and systematic violations of non-discrimination orders” and “illegal abuse of federal taxpayer funds.”
In addition to formal investigations into HFH’s alleged violations, the AFL also requires compliance reviews for all HHS-funded programs, suspend all racial and gender-based policies and practices, and amends the HFH program to comply with the Federal Civil Rights Act, “Legal and Administrative Penalties” to guide non-obligation and administration departments to direct federal administration departments to command federal administration departments” in general.
