White House photos show Trump authorized to strike in Iran, which is rare indoors
WASHINGTON (AP) – President Donald Trump looked straight at the stones facing each other, monitoring Saturday’s mission to withdraw three Iranian nuclear-rich sites.
In another image, Trump appears to speak on behalf of his chief of staff, Dan Caine. Whenever Trump is pictured, he wears a bright red hat and speaks his signature slogan of sports: “Make America great again.”
A series of photos posted by the White House on its X account on Saturday gave the public a rare glimpse inside the situation – once again igniting a conspiracy that would happen any time when images of the highly secretive complex were released.

Saturday's photos depicted Trump with senior members of his team, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Vice President JD Vance, Trump's national security adviser – White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. They gathered around a large wooden table in the main conference room of the Situation Room, known as the “Kennedy Room”, named after the president, who was in the office when the Situation was established.
Trump is always in the spotlight whenever he is portrayed as a photo, even if other officials in the foreground, such as Heggs or Vance, are gently blurred.
The two officials sat on Trump, who were Vance and Rubio, perhaps highlighting the depth of Trump's influence to consider whether Iran will strike Iran.
But the president is not always still. At angle, Trump roams around the room, and his top aide stands behind his top aide when Caine seems to speak. Some photos show that the cabinet members are still and focused on watching things while others show a bunch of activities – the United Emirates President accused him with animated ones, awarded by Hegseth with another official.
There are half-empty water bottles on the wooden conference table, and disposable cups with White House seals. Colorful highlighters. The thick adhesive on the front of Kane.
CIA Director John Ratcliffe also had binders and documents in front of him, although his documents seemed vague – for security reasons, of course.
Senior administrative officials also do not consider the principal. On the back of one photo is Dan Scavino, the president's ubiquitous vice president. In another person, White House lawyer David Warrington is a picture.
The situation room where Trump and his national security team are located is very different from what he did last semester. The sprawling complex on the ground floor of the West Wing underwent a $50 million renovation and was completed in 2023.
