The Milwaukee Brewery was clearly the right choice when he called Jacob Misowerowski last week.

The 23-year-old Gunpowder made his debut in MLB on June 12, without hitting five innings before cramps pulled him out of the game.

On Friday, he had been playing a perfect match in the seventh inning on his second Major League Baseball outing.

With a speed of 103 mph, Misiorowski became the first starting pitcher in the Modern Age (since 1900), and he began his career with 11 consecutive unstripped innings.

Matt Wallner took a walk to Byron Buxton and put the home run on the flower bed on the right field wall to end Misiorowski's run.

After Wallner's home run, Misiorowski was pulled to reliefist Nick Mears and kept applauding. He threw 86 balls, went on strike 60 times and led Milwaukee 8-2 to 8-2. Milwaukee made further progress, defeating the Minnesota Twins 17-6.

“I think that's exactly what I dream about,” the 23-year-old rookie said. “It's exciting.”

“I felt more calm than the first one and was ready to leave,” Misiorowski said. “The first one was very nervous, so I finally felt that the foot under my feet was good.”

The 6-foot-7 right hand beat six with a 102.1 mph fastball, in the mid-90s, sliders and swaps. He hit 29 triple digits in his first outing, more than two (14). He also hit 99.9 times four times.

According to Optastats, Misiorowski is the only major league champion since 1900 (two times) than the one allowed in his first two careers (two times).

When the brewer called his Misiorowski, the brewer found himself making headlines as it led to the downgrading of MLB veteran Aaron Civale to a bullpen. Civale then asked for a trade, and his wish was approved when he went to the lower Chicago White Sox.

Milwaukee ranked 41-35th and 4.5 games in the middle of the NL behind the Chicago Cubs.
