Women's health company TIA Health launches longevity service line

Women's healthcare company Tia Health has launched its longevity service line, designed to help women live healthier lives, starting with a focus on heart health, which is specifically shared with Medcity News.

San Francisco-based TIA Health provides face-to-face and virtual support for women. Its services include gynecology, primary care, mental health and health support.

Life service lines begin with evaluations that include advanced labs, face-to-face testing and one-to-one provider-guided. Laboratory tests for cholesterol, cardiac metabolic health, inflammation, as well as arterial health and organ function.

After the laboratory is over, the TIA health provider discusses the results with the patient and develops a personalized treatment plan based on the patient's goals. If patients need more intensive support, the company can connect them with cardiologists across the country.

“Our products are designed to enable longer, healthier lives with clear, concise and actionable approaches. It’s not just ordering more tests, but the right tests to illustrate your long-term health. … It’s not just about the numbers on the dashboard, but about understanding your health and controlling your health,” said Jessica Horwitz, chief clinical officer at TIA. “Unlike traditional snapshot-driven checking, the program prioritizes ongoing support. … Our goal is to create a dynamic, relationship-based life pathway rather than a one-time test or checklist.”

Horwitz added that while the company is serving lifespan with heart health, the company plans to expand to brain health, hormone shifts, autoimmune status and cancer risk throughout the year.

Horwitz also said TIA Health will measure the success of longevity programs by tracking improvements in biomarkers, recommended screening speeds and appropriate expert recommendations. Additionally, the company will track patient-reported metrics such as goal achievement and continuity of care.

In the long run, TIA health will measure outcomes such as reducing cardiovascular events, improving metabolic stability, and patient participation.

Ultimately, she said, the company aims to standardize “large-scale cardiovascular leading life care for women.”

“Our goal is to make advanced diagnosis and relationship-based preservation accessible, efficient and fair, not just among the wealthier populations,” Hovetz said. “Ultimately, we hope that lifespan doesn't look like pursuing ideal indicators, but rather live better over decades, from hormone transition to healthy aging. By building a model that can develop into brain, hormones and cancer care, we see lifespan as a lifetime journey that can help women better, not optimize enough for women to feel optimized enough for women to work hard enough for them to work hard enough.

Other women's health care companies include Maven Clinic, Hello Heart and Visana Health.
