Zelenskiy says Russia and Ukraine exchange list this week

KIEV (Reuters) – Ukraine and Russia agreed to list each other's list of people they want during talks in Istanbul on Monday next week.

Negotiators in Russia and Ukraine agreed to exchange 1,000 prisoners per prisoner and potentially exchange 200 more prisoners, Zelenskiy told an online news briefing.

He said there were also agreements to return the bodies of the slained service personnel, but this required careful preparation.

Zelenskiy also said that Ukrainian negotiators provided nearly 400 children with their Russian counterparts in hopes of Russia returning to Ukraine, but the Russian delegation agreed to work to return only 10 of them.

In addition, Ukrainian leaders mentioned the Ukrainian intelligence operation numbered “spider web”, in which drones smuggled into Russian military airports in wooden sheds.

He said the action helped restore partners' confidence that Ukraine could continue to launch a war on the Russian invasion.
