Zelensky vows to promote Ukrainian weapons production

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to further expand his country's arms business to prevent a full-scale invasion of Russia.
In a video message Tuesday night, Zelensky said Russia must feel that all misconduct against Ukraine will be answered.
The main elements needed are attack drones, interceptors, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles, he said. He stressed that Ukraine must produce everything.
Zelensky noted that hundreds of companies in the country are already working for the weapons sector.
He said the government is also preparing an investment agreement with European partners to transfer further military production to Ukraine, with a focus on driverless and long-range weapons.
Zelensky announced in December the mass production of the Palianytsia jet-powered drone. It is said that another missile drone called Peklo, which is 700 kilometers away, has also been tested in combat.
However, Ukraine is still inferior to Russia in terms of long-range weapons.
